Legendary Italian Elegance: The Contemporary Story of Riva Yacht
Riva Yacht has firmly established itself as a unique symbol of the Italian yachting world. This brand is known not only for luxury and elegance, but also as a bearer of heritage. Riva’s story begins with a storm on Lake Iseo in 1842. When this storm devastated the fishing fleet, Riva’s founder, Pietro Riva, laid the foundations of a legendary yachting tradition.
In May 2000, this story becomes even stronger as Riva becomes a symbol of Italian yachting as part of the Ferretti Group. During this period, Riva’s contemporary heritage is redefined with the know-how of the group Engineering department and the sensitivity of the design studio Officina Italiana Design. Riva offers a unique aesthetic combined with modern technology and excellent craftsmanship.
In the Riva courtyard in Sarnico, the heart of this heritage continues to beat. This is where everything is built, from the legendary wooden boats of the past to the modern yachts of today. Another important production facility of Riva is in La Spezia. This facility was established to expand Riva’s product range and production capacity and serves as the commercial and logistics hub for Liguria and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The Riva shipyard in Ancona serves as the home of the Riva Superyachts division. Working in close collaboration with designer Mauro Micheli and his colleagues at Officina Italiana Design, this division is one of the largest shipbuilding facilities in Europe. Here, Riva’s engineering and design team works to bring their superyacht to life.
Riva Yacht is not only a yacht brand, but also a lifestyle. Combining Italian elegance with perfectionism, this brand continues to be a legend in the maritime world. Riva’s contemporary story is a perfect combination of tradition and innovation and will continue to inspire future generations.
